About

Integral Therapy

Integral Therapy is the blending of both western and eastern therapies.  This process refines the mind, clears negative emotions, creates positive behaviors, improves relationships, and opens the heart.  Integral Therapy takes the body and the mind from survival mode to thrive mode.

Founded in 2011, Integral Therapy specializes in working with children, teens, and adults affected by a chronic medical illness.  Our mission is to empower patients and their families by connecting mind and body for better health.  We focus on your whole life experience including how your condition affects your emotions and daily life, navigating the education and healthcare system along with coping with anxiety or depression, and living a full life.

Conveniently located in Downtown Downers Grove, we offer child, adolescent, and adult therapy services, family counseling, yoga therapy, and school consultations.

When you or someone close to you is diagnosed with a chronic illness, mental illness, or disability, many challenges can occur beyond the

physical symptoms being experienced.  Taking care of your mental well-being is equally as important as taking care of your physical well-being.

Unfortunately in today’s medical world, there often isn’t time to address the social and mental effects of living with a chronic illness or disability every day. This is how Integral Therapy was founded.  Integral therapy offers behavioral medicine therapies, such as CBT and DBT and yoga therapy by treating your illness symptoms, either to complement your medical treatment or fill in where medical treatments are lacking.  Having suffered with a chronic  illness for over 12 years I have been there too, and therefore, I can give you a unique prespective and help you to achieve healing and wellness.
